Aaron Dumford
Aaron Dumford, regional manager for Old River Cabinets, began his love for cabinet & furniture building in 1985 while in the 8th grade where he learned to design and build custom built furniture in Buena Vista, VA. Since then he has enjoyed several different careers that have helped him become well rounded in the cabinet industry. Starting with a 13 year stint with Lowe’s Companies in Store Operations which taught strict operational guidelines, then on to owning his own remodeling business instilled a true connection with the customer and finally coming full circle to his passion and lifelong dream of being deeply rooted in the Custom Cabinet Design and Build industry within his birth place of Charlotte NC.
“There is a certain fulfillment that I get from helping a customer through the project of designing building and installing their own custom made one of a kind Kitchen or Bath Project” – says Aaron. “The art of designing a space to overcome any and every obstacle that a house throws at you is more than just buying box built cabinets and placing them on the wall to fill the space. The true effectiveness of a remodel project is how we take into consideration how the customer is going to use this space, which is different with every customer we encounter. The good thing is, because we build our cabinetry to fit your space and your needs, we can make sure that our customers are no less than 100% satisfied with their finished project”.
When Aaron is not in the showroom or in the field with a client he can be found enjoying his other passion, photography. Traveling all over the southeast trying to capture those ever-elusive shots he has spent many hours behind the lens of his Digital SLR. Since 2001 he and his wife Denise have called Mooresville, NC home. Spending time with Denise and their two Great Dane mixed dogs is his favorite pastime.
