Fitness Advice From A Pro Steve Beuerlein is well known in Charlotte as the former quarterback for the Charlotte Panthers who holds the record for the most touchdown passes thrown during his five-year career with the team. Now Steve hopes to make a name for himself on another playing field, as the new owner of Charlotte Fitness Equipment (CFE). Charlotte Fitness Equipment specializes in helping homeowners outfit home gyms with high-end fitness equipment that meets their long-term exercise goals. The company offers the best names in home and commercial gym equipment, along with full time, on-site physiologists who assess customers’ needs and provide free personal training sessions to ensure safety and maximize results. As an athlete, Steve was naturally attracted to the opportunity to help others achieve their maximum fitness level. He says the store’s successful track record was another plus. With three locations, and a solid reputation for providing excellence in home gym equipment, Steve believes it’s the perfect time to take CFE to the next level. “We will maintain the focus on in-home residential, while exploring new opportunities to outfit fitness centers and clubhouses located in corporate centers, neighborhoods, apartment buildings and condominiums,” says Steve. CFE has always been in business to help people maximize their workouts. With Steve at the helm, this mission will only grow stronger. “We want to help people buy the right equipment, and we’ll show them how to use it to get the maximum results,” he says. “You can get a complete workout in 30 minutes, and we’ll show you how to do that in your own home, with equipment that is equal to what you’re using at the gym.” Understanding that budgets vary, Steve says CFE will continue to offer the best equipment in all price ranges. “Even on a strict budget, you can afford top of the line options for your health,” he says. “For a little bit more than you’d pay for equipment at a large retailer, you can get close to commercial quality at CFE, with the warranty and services that make our equipment a better investment.” Though the position of small business owner is something Steve has never tackled before, he says he’s ready, and he hopes his reputation and work ethic will open some new doors for CFE. “We’re here for overall wellness,” he explains, referring to some of the special services offered at CFE, including VO2 assessment to measure metabolism and fitness levels, and blood profiles to check cholesterol. “Everyone wants to live longer and be healthier. The best way to do that is to take care of yourself. I’m excited to be involved in something that is going to give so many people more positive benefits for their health.” Visit Carolina Fitness Equipment in Ballantyne at Ballantyne Commons Parkway or call 704-844-0497.
